You know what I love most about music (and, really, about art in general): the ability to create something deeply personal that can also become deeply personal to someone else.I want to understand how this happens. I want to know how music is made, how arrangements are crafted to convey ideas and emotions.
And how the poetry in melody can make your heart ache with longing or inspire you to belt out Taylor Swift songs with the windows down. This is why Tune Talk exists: because I want to understand how great artists create great music. My hope is that by gaining a deeper understanding of the stories artists tell, we can better understand our own stories.
